LIMITED FOUNDATION WARRANTY

Purchasers of any Polysleep Foundation (“Foundation”) are eligible for this LIMITED WARRANTY. Subject to all of the terms and conditions of this warranty, UFP Warranty Corporation (“UFP”) will, in its sole discretion, replace or refund the purchase price of any Foundation that is found to be defective within one (1) year after the date of purchase, subject to the exclusions and conditions contained herein.  

WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS

This limited warranty covers Foundations against defects in material or workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase.This limited warranty only covers Foundations. If a Foundation is incorporated into another product sold by an authorized dealer, UFP’s sole obligation is to replace or refund the price of Foundation. If UFP choses to refund the price of a Foundation that is part of another product,UFP will only be liable to refund the price that was paid to UFP for the Foundation by the seller of that product. UFP does not warrant the performance of any product that incorporates the Foundation, and UFP will not be liable for any failure of such product unless directly caused by a defect in the Foundation.  

EXCLUSIONS

This limited warranty does not cover, and UFP is not liable for, any of the following: 

Damage caused by using an improper bed frame or placing the Foundation directly on the floor. A proper frame provides continuous support with rigid center support.Damage caused by misuse or abuse, including, but not limited to: breakage, burns, cuts, tears, liquid damage, or stains.Replacement of any non-defective components in the Foundation. The Foundation is made of several component pieces. If only one component is defective, UFP will replace only the affected component.Complaints related to comfort preferences of the first owner.Normal wear and tear. Conditions caused by the natural characteristics of the wood components used in the manufacture of the Foundation.  

HOW TO MAKE CLAIMS

To make a claim under the terms of this warranty, send a photograph and description of the damage along with the purchase receipt(s). Send this information to:

UFP will, within sixty (60) days from the date of notice of your claim, and upon receipt of the proper documentation, make arrangements to exchange the damaged Foundation for the new Foundation, or damaged Foundation component/s for the new Foundation component/s. UFP reserves the right to have a representative inspect a Foundation that is claimed to be damaged prior to its removal. NOTE: THE ONLY OBLIGATION OF UFP UNDER THE TERMS OF THIS WARRANTY IS LIMITED TO REPLACEMENT OF THE DAMAGED FOUNDATION OR DAMAGED COMPONENTS OR REFUND OF THE MONETARY EQUIVALENT OF THE DAMAGED FOUNDATION UP TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASE PRICE OR PRICE PAID TO UFP BY THE AUTHORIZED DEALER.UFP MAKES NO OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR OTHERWISE. IN NO EVENT SHALL UFP BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES. NOTHING IN THIS WARRANTY SHALL AFFECT THE DURATION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES BEYOND THEIR CUSTOMARY DURATION OR CREATE ADDITIONAL IMPLIED WARRANTIES. 

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so these limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state
